"old itow" club Is being organised
here by young men of the city. It Is
not a liventjjck breeders proposition,
but a sportlnK club which will play

caddies are required and expense is
otherwise cut down, because tin cans
are plentiful and the sticks need not

Sunday school class gave an oyster
supper Wednesday night to a number
of their girl friends at the I. O. O.
P. hall. Plates were laid for thirty.
Meadamei Esselwtyn, Sterns and Cook
were the patronesses. A long tn be
remembered lime was had by all
present.
Echo has been experiencing some
of the coldest weather of the season
the rast week. On Thursday morn
ing there was a four inch fall of fresh
snow.
Pan Hownian shlnped out a car

holidays with friends.

electrical course at O. A. C. Is spend
ing the holidays here with his par
ents.
The Misses Ina and Lillle Watten-
hurger are home for the holldavs.

Mrs. Alex Thompson and children
are here from Meacham spending the
Holidays with relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gallowav of
Pasco. Wash., are here visiting with
friends and relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Lathron of Sntlth
Dakota, who have been visiting the
Esselstynes the past three weeks left
Wednesday for Seattle. Wash. Thev
will go later to California. Mrs.
