ANDERSON LEAVES FOR FOOD PROBE 1 grmilton x Tented by Briny Ocean Breeze IT is not difficult to make a piano that will hold to nether 2nd slay in tunc so long as it remains on dry land. It is quite another thing to make an instrument that can be shipped abroad and arrive in the same condition as when it left the factory. Damp winds and sudden changes of w eather have a way ot finding the weak spots. t The export record of the Hamilton Piano is con vincing evidence of its thorough dependability. Per haps no other instrument of American make enjoys so great a demand all over the world. The reason is, it does not have to be rebuilt after an ocean journey. The Hamilton's ability to stand this gruelling test means that it has the durability of construction to give you unending satisfaction in your home. When you buy this House of Baldwin product you know that you are getting an instrument whose design, materials and construction have been provei- 'jeyond the slightest doubt. VICTROLA AND COLUMBIA TALKING MACHINES. WASHINGTON, Dec. 11. Special Assistant Attorney General George W. Anderson has started for Cleve land Chicago to conduct the food price probes. He assumes direction of the federal grand Jury investiga tions. Anderson carried evidence tending to prove a "vicious collusion" of food speculators throughout the middle west. It Is officially intimated the Chi cago grand Jury may hear several prominent financiers when it investi gates the packing house Industry. Several leading officials are under sulipoenae. The government has sus pected the big packing houses for years. The agricultural department Is especially suspicious. It Is con sidered highly probable that granl Juries in Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland Kansas City, Minneapolis and St. Louis will start proceedings In a few days. They Intend to Investigate chambers of commerce and similar bodies. Anderson intended to briefly see President Wilson before leaving. It is understood the president fully ap proved Gregory's carte blanche or ders to Anderson. new imrrisH commander von. roiccrcs in ikkland.
