A HALLMARK SPECIAL
DIAMOND RINGS
' at Prices Surprisingly Low
Nothing but the best of its kind
is ever knowingly admitted to this
store. When we announce a conces
sion in price it means on the same
excellent quality you always expect
We and hundreds of other Hallmark
Stores combined and imported direct
an enormous lot of selected diamonds
of good quality and mounted them b
solid gold rings. To appreciate just
how this co-operative Hallmark Store
buying gives your dollar extra pur
chasing power, you have only to see
these Diamond Rings at their excep
tionally low prices.
Measured by values elsewhere
even in big New York stores experts
will know that, as priced by us, yart
of these diamonds cost you nothing.
Better come early, as these rings are
sure to go fast. Diamonds, you know,
are inclined to increase in value and
are therefore considered a good investment

Relatives Deny Rumor New IMerstlve
Apparatus Has Failed Brady.
NEW YORK. Nov. 10. Friends of
James Buchanan Brady are disturbed
at the report that his 3200,000 stom
ach has gone back on him and that
he Is seriously ill. According to the
rumor, a specialist had been sum
moned from Baltimore to attend "Dia
mond Jim."
At the Brady home it was said the
report was greatly exaggerated. Bra
dy arose feeling "under the weather,"
it was said, decided to spend the day
Indoors resting and reading. No doc
tor had been summoned, it was said.
Four and a half years ago Brady
entered Johns Hopkins hospital in
Baltimore to be treated for chronic
stomach trouble. After an operation
he left the hospital with what he de
scribed as "new stomach."
A few months later Brady gave
1300,000 and an annuity of 315,000 to
found and maintain the James Bu
chanan Brady urological Institute as
a special unit of the hospital.
