"THE IROX CLAW."
"Ihe Iron Claw" Is completed with
the release of "The Triumph of the
IUBh ng Mask" and this the last ep
isode of the popular serial la notable
both for the amount of action contain
ed In Its two reels and the general
satisfaction the ending will afford Its
many followers.
The myBtery of the Laughing Mask
Is solved at last and as one of the
many who have pondered the ques
tion "who Is the Laughing Mask?"
we muRt fay that the unmaskyig of
the rtighter of Wrongs is a most wel
come Incident We agreed with one.
of the detectives who In the end says
"no wonder we could not find the
Laughing Mask, he's a whole regi
ment." And so he is In the lan chap
ter. But the Mask himself assures the
detectives that he only became a reg
iment "toward the end, because he
was so crowded by events." In the
'Triumph of the Lauehlng Mask" Ifi
gar after c-caplng from the detec
tives visits the house of h's accom
plice, a scientist. The Claw opens
door after door and he Is confronted
by Laughing Masks at every turn.
This astounding affair Is explained
when the detectives arrest about eight
men all In the guise of the Wrong
Rlghter. The real Mask is cleared of
the crimes he was accused of and he
claims Margery as h's reward. Le
gar dies and his death Is that which
villains usually come to. Margery Is
very happy, naturally, for the Mask,
her champion Is the Jovial Davy, hef
father's former secretary.
The episode presents both amusing
comedy and vivid melodrama. The
production Is as usual excellent and
Chelghton Hale, Pearl White and
Sheldon Lewis give performances
which compare with their work all
through the other nineteen episodes.
ACTORS IN "THE LITTLE I.HU"
HAD TO DO NIGHT WOIIK
Utll'zlng a downt-own Los Antreles
department store for a number of
scenes In "The Little Liar," a new
Trlanfrle-Flne Arts p'rture featuring
Mae Marsh and Robert Herron, the
members of the cast were oMieed to
work at night In order to avoid the
customers vMtlng the store during
the shopping hours.
Mae Marsh, as a cash girl, Is accus.
ed of the theft of a number of yards
of lace from the big store, and be
cnne nf the fact that she Is noted as
a 'Title l'ar" she is arrested and ta
ken to Jail.
The department store scenes are
among the lively bits of action In the
picture, and Carl Stockdale. as a
thieving floor walker, does some ex
cellent work In his role ) the smooth
and oily manager of the girls and
the sleek and polite aid of a well
gowned shoplifter.
Complete 'n all Its deta!ls and vary
ing In Its scenes from the department
store to the boarding house and
from the boardin house to the slums
and the Jail. "The Little Liar
abounds all the way through in hu
man Interest and heart throbs.
Robert Herropas the young news
paper reporter, gives an excellent In
terpretation of h's role, which he has
carefully stud'ed by close association
with newspaper men and some actual
experience on a dally paper.
Mrs. Marsh has never appeared to
better advantage than as the little
"slavey" In the boarding house, who
dreims dreams and sees visions.
The story has an Insistent appeal
both to the heart and mind and !s. In
fact, one of the most artistic p'c
tures released lately from the Fine
Arts studio.
"The Little Liar" Is the feature at

From the minute their eyes first met on ship board
when she first appeared in gorgeous fashion-finery, his
sister knew that he loved her.
Having higher aspirations for him, she seeks to keep
them apart, but her opposition simply fans the flame of
love the stronger and though he loses her for awhile, he
finds her again in a faith-crushing situation but just in
time to save her.
