Warner-Ins solves the

This revolutionary Invention takes the guesswork out of
driving ut night. It kills the awful glare not by reducing
your light, but by diffusing It and distributing It where you
want it. straight ahead and on both sides.
Warner-Lens, makes laws against glares obsolete. The
menace of dlmirers Is overcome. The light from the Warner
Lena penetrates smoke, fog and dust. Driving on the dark
est night becomes both comfortable and safe. The road
ahead Is shown up as by daylight. A field of light reaches
the curb on both sides, giving you n full view of passing ve
hicles. It lights up all the turns and corners before you
reach them and while you are turning. Vet you never hav

Benson declared the Hay-Chamber-Iain

president "greater power thah the
king of England has over Australians,
where by the act of parliament, wo
men as well as men must determine
whether In the midst of a great world
war, Australian men shall be drafted

law means you approve It."

the Harvard observatory at Flagstaff,
Ariz., in an address at the University
of California last night, announced as
hU most recent 'deduction from his
study of the planet Mars that the so-

but strips of vegetation under human
cultivation and undoubtedly watered
by artificial canals.
In support of his decision. Dr. Low
ell said he had determined that the
smalle-st observanble spot on Mars
would be at least 10 m.les in diam
eter.. Canals, therefore, could not be
seen from earth. Mars, he added,
has four seasons much like ours, but
longer.
