James Rinjrol, of Helix, purchased a Grant Six cylinder auto
from the local representatives on the 29th day of April and on July
5th had driven it 1506 miles.
On that date he had traveled 56 miles from Walla Walla on a
cross country trip, on one gallon and. three quarters of gasoline.
Two stops were made besides, one at Weston and the other at Athe
na. The macadam road was left two miles this side of Athena and
the dirt road was taken to a point north of town and then down
Lee street into the city. Mr. Ringle was accompanied by W. P.
Pierce, who vouched for the statements made.
On that date the car had never had a puncture or blowout and
the boys claimed they had put "it over some pretty rough roads.
Except for filling the.base of the engine with new oil once, only
one quart of oil had been used in the entire 1506 miles. Not a cent
had been spent for repairs except 50 cents for welding a broken
radius rod. The best speed ever attained by the car was 52 miles
nnd that was slightly upgrade on the way to Bingham Springs.
Mr. Ringle's experience is another proof of the cheap up-keep of
the Grant Six. Not a cent for tires only one quart of oil besides
about four in the base, only fifty cents for repairs and little gaso
line used. AND. remember the car had made 1506 miles. Ask or
write Mr. Ringel. then
Think this over before you buy.

I TODY the Price-List publicly printed below.
Compare with the l,ist-rriees ot otner nreswi-Kc m i,v-
Volume.
Observe that competinsr Prices are higher in almost the exact proiortion
rthat VOLUME of production is smaller.
This, when Quality approaches the Goodrich Standard.
Cut our 1915 Tire Output (of 3,000,000 Auto and Truck Tires) to One-third,
iand it would still far exceed the Average of all Competinir Makes or Brands,
But, that huge reduction in Volume MIGHT result In every Tire we made
eosting nou One-third MORB than present prices.
'They would not, and could not, be BETTER Tires, at this necessarily
J higher-cost to Us, and higher-price to Foil.
Because, Goodrich Tires are not made "up to a price," nor "down to
a price."
e e
W!
'E, first of all, make the BEST Fabric Tires that our 47-year Expert,
ence in Rubber-Working, our hiijre Purchasing-Power, and the
most Advanced Equipment, renders possible.
Then we let Cost fall where it will.
To that Cost we add a moderate, and fair, Profit for Ourselves and for our
IDealers.
Then we let VOLUME rise, -as it will.
The more Tires we Make, the LESS each Tire COSTS im ;(., and
the less it costs YOU to buy them.
The more Tires we Sell, the less profit, per Tire, WE NEED, for dividends.
The more Tires we make, the better we KNOW HOW to make them, the
more we have at Stake on Quality, and Satisfaction to Consumers.
And, because of all this.
The BEST Fabric Tires that Skill, Experience.- Good-Faith, and Maximum
Volume, can build, are now available to YOU at the I 'EE V MODEL1. 1 TE Fair-List
Prices here quoted.
