live Drowned In One Day.
NEW YORK, June 19 Emll Eol
etz, 23 years old of No. 84 Garfield
avenue, Richmond Hill, fell over
board from the motorboat Candy Kid
near Sandy Hook and was drowned
Captain John Blace. in charge of the
boat, made a valiant attempt to res
cue him. The body was not recov
ered. A. D. Nelson. ','1 years old. mate ot
the schooner George H. Anes. fell
overboard and was drowned near the
West Bank light. Men aboard the
schooner tried to save him. Nelson's
home was in Long Island, Me. The
body was not recovered.
Michael Sparrow, 5, was drowned
in a pond near the Fendango Paper
Mills, in Mlllburn, N. J.
Samuel Freacich, 29, of Philadel
phia, was drowned while bathing in
the Delaware river near Bordentown,
N. J. He was stricken with cramps
and sank.
Detective Thomas Kenny of Jersey
City, rescued George Blaney, 7, from
drowning in the Morris Canal.
Police from Harbor A station res
cued Joseph Graff, of No. 261 West
Houston street, when he fell in the
North River near Pier 14.
