F.lixabeth C Krueger has brought suit In the circuit court for a divorce from her husband Leo E. Krueger, and for the restoration of her maiden r.ame. Wetzstein. Alexander Returns Home. R. Alexander, prominent merchant, arrived home yesterday from a trip to San Franciseo En route he at tended the I. O. F. grand lodge at Roseburg, later spending a week in the Hay City Returning home he stopped a short while in Portland for the Rose Festival. Judge Phelps giving a decision in her favor. The legal dispute has been in the court for over a year By Judge Phelps' decision Mrs. Skinner gets title to the land up on which she built a house and ol which Furnas had twice sued to get possession. Parker Gets License. "Painless" Parker. Portland dentist, was today granted a license to practice in Oregon by the state board of dental examiners, according to Dr. V. A. Fitzgerald of Portland, partner of Dr Parker. Dr. Fitzgerald has been traveling through the county by auto mobile in the Interests of a bill to be initiated at the November election and eppeared on the streets here last week demonstrating painless methods on dentistry Parker has been with the Portland firm Tor several years hut never held an individual license in Oregon. Reds vs. Blacks Sunday. The black race will be pitted against the red race Sunday in a base ball game to be played at Round-Up Park between the Colored Tigers of this city and the Indian boys of the agency. June S At the session of the court martial of Captain Bowen Solthurst. who Is accused of manu facture for having ransed the execu 'ion during the recent rebellion of F Sheehy Skeffington. editor of the Irish Citizen, testimony was given that he was mentally unstable, This was the testimony of Drs. Thomas Dickson and Fred Mclntyre. who had examined the prisoner. ROSE FKSTIVAI. EDITION'. Regarding Winter's Receivership. WriUng from Portland James Griggs of the Appling-Griggs Co., which had the sub-Qontract for in stalling the heating plant in the fed eral building, disclaims responsibil ity for causing the financial embar rassment of J. S. Winters, the general contractor. He states that some dam age was caused when the boiler froze up last winter and declares this re sulted from Mr. Winters' failure to keep up the temperature in the build ing to the contract point. However, the amount this mistake involved wai less than $1000 and in nowise respon sible for the receivership, says the letter. Mr. Griggs states that Mr. Winters' troubles result from his gen eral financial condition. He says Mr. Winters has left Portland and his present whereabouts are unknown.
