QUIT MEAT WHEN KIDNEYS BOTHER TAKE A GLASS OF SALTS IF YOl'R RACK HURTS OR BLADDER TROUBLES OU. No man or wumun who eats meat flushing the kidneys occasionally, says : well known authority. Meat forms uric acid which excites the kidneys, they become overworked from the strain, get sluggish and fall to filter the waste and poisons from the blood. then we get sick. Nearly all rheuma-j tlsm, headaches, liver trouble, nor-1 vousneas, dlxilness, sleeplessness aim urinary disorders come from sluggish kidneys. May 19 There waa a fair Increase in the movement of sheep to the North Portland yards from Willamette valley polnta over - night and the trend of the trade was! uniformly good. Shearing operations all through the northwest have been resumed and il is believed that within a short time the Keneral movement to market will start, although total shipments in this direction are expected to be smaller than normal, because of the extreme price of wool. A recent advice in the Ikeview Examiner savs that reports which are being brought In from Warner Vallev and the lava beds are to tlw effect that all the sheepmen in those sec-i tlons of Iwike county are making ex rellenl lambing. William O'Keefe, who is in Ihe employ of V. K. Verting was an arrival the first of the week from Warner and states that condi tions' (here are the best. Lambing has started and so far the results have been excellent. The weather has been such that few losses are reported. Dick Lacy came in from the lava beds Sunday and says that most ot the hands there have finished with lambing. The weather waa Ideal and numbers of the flocks lambed close to 100 per cent W ith the prices of wool at prevailing, it will indeed be perous year for the sheepmen present j i pros-' In re-1 Kurd t the wool situation, a telegram 1 received yesterday by the Kxaminer from ' ritnmins. May 19. There j Is a very quiet tone In the local cereal , trade. Talk of further oats business I being offered by the government can not be confirmed from any of the leading dealers who nave supplied the government with oats for many years. It begins to look as if some one witli liberal stocks of oats on hand is trying ) to manipulate the market upward in an effort to make the holders 'of the ' government contract pay dearly for ! their supplies. So far as can be ascertained, there , Is a fair business showing In oats at ; northwest points, but none of this can be traced to government delivery. Chicago market showed signs ol weakness for wheat at the start ot the day's trade, despite the damage reports coming from the southwest. Liverpool cash wheat was a shade weaker with prices unchanged to Id lower than on Wednesday. Hioomhall cabled that the oats market contnues to rule very firm with arrivals moder ate and Platte shipments going largely to the continent, as ship owners are not allowed to load freely, giving pref erence to wheat and corn.
