No man or woman who eats meat regularly can make a mistake by flushing the kidneys occasionally, says a well-known authority. Meat forms uric acid which clogs the kidney pores so they sluggishly filter or strain only part of the waste and poisons from the blood, then you get sick. Nearly all rheumatism, headaches, liver trou ble, nervousness, constipation, dizzi ness, sleeplessness, bladder disorders come from sluggish kidney. The moment you reel a dull ache in the kidney or your back hurts, or if the, urine la cloudy, offensive, full of sediment, irregular of passage or attended by a sensation of scalding, get about four ounces of Jad Salts from any reliable pharmacy and take a tablespoonful in a gtass of water be fore breakfast for a few days and your kidneys will then act fine. This fa mous salts Is made from the acid of grapes and lemon juice, combined with llthia and has been used for generations to flush clogged kidneys and stimulate them to activity, also to neutralize the acids in urine so it no longer aauses Irritation, thus end ing bladder disorders. Jad Salts is inexpensive and cannot injure; makes a delightful efferves cent llthia-water drink which all reg ular meat eaters should take now and then to keep the kidneys clean and the blood pure, thereby avoiding serious kidney complications. PORTLAND, ore., May 12 Severe damage has been done the fruit crops of the Pacific coast. From Califor nia's southern border to the Canadian line the damage has been almost gen eral. Prunes, peaches, cherries, and pears have been most severely damaged, al though the exact extent of the loss will not be known for some time. Some of the leading authorities believe that the loss along the coast will run Into millions of dollars. Eary potatoes have been severely damaged In California and some loss es are feared In the Willamette val ley. While some reports indicate that ap pies have been hurt, still most Interests have come to the conclusion that the losses, will not be very severe except in the softer fruits. Asparagus growers were hit in the Willamette valley and there is likely MONK HOT WATTED ef too mwm A Says we can't help but look better and feel better after an Inside bath. To look one's best and feel one's best Is to enjoy an inside bath each morning to flush from the system the previous day's waste, sour fermenta tions and poisonous toxins before it is absorbed into the blood. Just as coal when it burns, leaves behind a certain amount of incombustible mate rial in the form of ashes, so the food and drink taken each day leave in the alimentary organs a certain amount of indigestible material, which if not eliminated, form toxins and poisons which are then sucked into the blood through the very ducts which are in intended to suck in only nourlchment to sustain the body. If you want to see the glow of healthy bloom in your cheekB, to see your skin get i arer and clearer, you are told to drink every morning up on arising, a glass of not water with a teaspoonful of limestone phospha. in it, which Is a harmless means of washing the waste material and tox ins from the stomach, liver, kidneys and bowels, thus cleansing, sweeten ing and purifying the entire alimen tary tract, before putting more food into the stomach. Men and women with sallow skins, liver spots, pimples or pallid com plexion, also those wno wake up with a coated tongue, bad taste, nasty breath, billow spells, acid stomach or constipation should begin this pho- phated hot water drinking and are assured of very pronounced results in one or two weeks. A quarter pound of limestone phos phate costs very little at the drug store but Is sufficient to demonstrate that Ju.li as soap and hot water cleanses, purifies and freshens the skin on the outside, so hot water and limestone phosphate act on the Inside organs. We must always consider that internal sanitation is vastly more Im portant than outside cleanliness, be cause the skin pores do not absorb Impurities Into the blood, while the bowel pores do.
