E. attraction at the Pastime yesterday, and continuing today, made a decided impression on a large audience and won for Miss O'Neil many new friends. The part of the sacrificing sister, played by Miss o'Nell, was a hard one Hnd called for emotional acting of the highest order and It Is doubtful If any of the present day motion picture actresses could have carried the role to lo successful a conclusion as did Miss O'Neil. Rose Melville, the original sis Hop pins, appeared In her first motion pic ture, "A Leap Year Wooing." Miss Melville has been on the spoken stage since we can remember, but In the picture she looked the psrt of a Jakey country girl to perfection. Dan Rose sang a song entitled "There's a Light That's Burning in the Window of the Little House I'pon the Hill." The song was Illustrated with moving pictures. Mr. Rose has I a clear baritone voice and his singing was well received by tne audience.
