KITTY GORDON BA K TOO WHITE FOR FILM The World Film Corporation struck an unexpected snag when it came to photograph the dazzling Kitty Gor-! down's glittering-, gorgeous back in the photodrama, especially written for her screen deput, and which Is based upon E. Phillips' famous novel and Play. "As in a Looking Glass." The first scene the director elected to take was one at a supposed "drawing room" at a Washington embassy. Nat urally there was quite an acreage of the Kordon back on view In this scene where evening gowns were es sential. Miss Gordon's gown began late and ended early. "Bee-yoot-i-ful'' breathed Director Crane as the stately Miss Gordon glid ed and swepftftrough her scenes. But other denaturalized exclama tions broke from his lips when he saw the ''tests" on the screen. Cheney, and is used in preparing a meal to be served to that part of the public for tunate enough to have meal reserva tions. "These meals have become so pop ular," says Miss Martha Bechen, a student news writer who is a mem ber of the class in catering, "both because of prices charged and the quality of meals served, that reserva tions are filled for an entire month in advance. simple questions, but hard to class which meets every Friday in the cafeteria room of the home economics building.
