the principal roles under the direc
tion of Halph Ince. It Is the story
of the Uiuls XVI period and the Vi
tagraph Company went to consider
able expense to create the atmosphere
of those times. The costumes and
characters are authentic of that pe
riod. 1
'My Lady's Slipper" was written
by .Cyrus Townsend Brady and Is one
of the most Interesting of the many
successful novels from his pen. The
Vitagraph Company nas spared no
expense In making It a veritable
screen masterpiece and supporting
Miss Stewart and Mr. Williams In the
cast are such well known players as

on. Word is carried to the countess
of his plight and through her Influ
ence Burnham Is released and the
marquis humiliated. Later the Amer
ican and the counters are happily
married.
"My Lady's Slipper" la the first cos
tume play In which Anita Stewart
has ever appeared. Both she and Mr.
Williams wear their silks, satins and
laces in graceful manner and their
appearance In this production will
further endear them to the motion
picture public.

with the offer of the partnership on
condition that he gets his picture In
the papers. Then the fun starts.

gives an excellent performance en
titled "The Italian Music Master."
The different duets, quartets and
quintets are pleasing and beautiful ex
amples of harmony. This show will
be given tonight for the last time.
