March 27 The British liner Minneapolis was sunk in the Mediterranean last Wed nesday by a submarine, according to 'aptaln Blbby of the British steamer which has arrived here from Ran goon. Capfain Blbby reports that while ic the Mediterranean last Wednesday h' received a wireless catl for help from the Mlnenapolls. which said that th steamer had Just been torpedoed and was sinking. The Leicestershire went at full speed to the assistance of the Minn eapolis, but arrived too late, the ves sel hnvlng sunk. The fate of the crew was not known to Captain Blb by. The Minneapolis was a steamer "I 13.543 tons gross. She was built in 1900 at Belfast. LONDON, March 27 Lloyds re ports that the British steamship Fen ny Bridge has been sunk. The crew has been landed. The Fenny Bridge, 3836 tons. 3S feet long, was built in Sunderland in 1910. The British steamer St. Cecelia, from Portlana, Me., March 11, for London, has been sunk, according to a dispatch to Lloyds from Dover.
