Hale, a Boston attorney, with a resi dence at Dover, Mass, has lost his petition for a writ of mandamus to comjxjl the county commissioners of .Norfolk county to pay an award made to him by the selectmen of the town of Dover for the death of 10 Angora goats. Mr. Hale had the goats in pasture on August 9, 1914, upon his estate and they were killed by dogs. The following day Mr. Hale notified A. H. Parker, chairman of the board of Selectmen, Mr. Parker appointed ap praisers to determine the amount 'hat Mr. Hale was entitled to receive sad en award of 160 was made.
