one of the men who held up the Ore
gon express in Cow Creek canyon in
1911. according to a letter received
by sheriff Quine Trom the sheriff at
Hants Kosa. Sheriff yuine Is Inves
tigating the alleged confession.

ifornia, according to the letter, that
he was a patient at Mercy hospital in
Koschurg. some time after the train
robbery. The letter was accompan
ied by a photograph of the fugitive,
who is said to be about 30 years old.
