which W. J. Cray, formerly of this
city, has been manager, with the Im
perial Coffee & Tea Co., the new cor
poration to be known as the Grav
Manufacturing Co. Mr. Gray was
formerly a member of the firm of
Gray Bros. here. The Spokane
Chronicle, speaking of the merger,
says in part:
"Consolidation of the Imperial Cof
fee and Tea company, coffee roasters
and distributors, with Gray & Co.,
wholesale dealers in supplies for ba
kers, confectioners and soda foun
tains, under a new corporation known
up the Gray Manufacturing company
was announced today by W. .1. Gray
"The new concern is capitalized at
$100,000, and will take over the busi
ness of the two companies January 1.

morning, evidently heading for San
