Vincent, was endorsed last evening by the Com mercial association and a cnmmlttea was named by President Tallman to assist in the preparation for this nov' el celebration of the Yuletlde. The plan is to set up a tall ever ureen tree at the Intersection of Main and Court streets, strings of lights will be suspended between the tree and the four corner poles and mrt ads of tiny colored lights will be sprinkled among the branches. Dr. Vincent, who Is manager of the Pa cific Power A Light Co.. has volun teered to contribute the lights with out cost. On the tree will be hung hundreds Santa Claus will distribute the. gifts among the children. There will tie plenty for every child in the city. This will, however, not be all of the municipal observance. A big float, drawn by six horses and occu pied by forty children. will drive through the streets and the children will sing Christmas carols.
