LOOK OUT FOR lOUS - CATARRH
Don't let this Winter hrins to you the annoyance of Catarrh and
suffering which every man and woman who is afflicted
with this disease. hHS cause to dread.
First of ail re at amber, it you win
continue to suffer
your own fault Catarrh in worse In
Winter because the most common
place precautions against genus and
contaminations are neglected.
We go to stuffy theatres and inhale
over und over again vitiated and
genu laden air. We sit in over heated
rooms, neglect exercise, exclude fresh
air because It's cold, and in a hundred
ways do everything possible to assist
in the ravages of a disease that is al
ready making tremendous progress to
wards s complete sapping of vitality.
It Is small wonder that Winter brings
additional annoyance to Catarrh suf
ferers The nostrils, reasonably free in
summer, are easily stopped up by the
Inflammation of the tender membrane,
and the phlegm and secretions which
cannot readily Sow, aggravate the
Jellcste lining of the throat and poi
son the system. Hawking and spitting
becomes more frequent In fact, Ca
tarrh Is not only a nuisance, danger
and annoyance to the afflicted, but a
continued menace to everybody. Any
one who comes in contact with Ca
tarrhal germs, expectorated or ex
haled in stuffy rooms, poorly venti
lated theatres or cars, may contract
the disease. They'll think they have
taken cold, but it is more likely that
with Catarrh, it IsJ this Insidious waster of strength und
vigor has iiusieneil Useil upon tiiem.
They will soon know the Catarrhal
headache, the disagreeable closing of
air passages, they may Und it attack
ing the bones of the nose, the tissues
of the ear, resulting In deafness, the
loss of smell, for no part of a body
Is secure from the ravages of Ca
tarrh. Catarrh makes you sick all
over. It is a disease of the blood. It
circulates through the system, and for
this reason sprays, washes, vapourB
and salves must be failures in curing
It. You can relieve Catarrh thoroughly
and permanently S. 8. S. will cleanse
the blood, relieve unhealthy secre
tions, reduce the membraneous swell
ing. It will literally wash the blood
free from the poison. S. S. S. goes di
rectly to the source of trouble, en
riches, while It cleanses the blood. It
is a wonderful tonic Invigorator. Write
us particulsrs of your case and let our
physicians help you get rid of this
stubborn and dangerous malady. Our
physicians are trained specialists;
their services cost you nothing. We

PORTLAND, Ore.. Nov. 17 Steps
to preserve the fish and game of the
state were taken by the state fish
and game commission in its monthly
meeting yesterday at the offices In
the Pittock block The Deschutes
river was ordered closed to winter
trout fishing und a reward of J100
was posted for the arrest and con
viction of anyone shooting antelope
mountain sheep or elk at any time
in this state.
Recommendations of W. L. Finley
state biologist, on the need for the
utmost protection of elk, mountain
sheep and antelope were followed by
the bourd. Mr Flnley reported that
there is but a small remnant ot
bands of mountain sheep that for
merly made their homes in the
mountains of eastern Oregon. He
believes that not more than 30 or 40
animals are now left alive in the
mountains of northeast Oregon
extermination of Aatetopc Pearod,
Antelope have also been nearly
exterminated, he said, and are in a
fair fray to be wiped out altogether
unless the strong arm of the law is
thrown around them to give addi
tional protection He estimates there
ire perhaps 1000 antelope remain
ing in eastern Oregon.
The elk, he said, which are found
in small numbers in sections of the
coast mountains, are the best type
of elk to be found anywhere and he
regarded It as extremely important
that they be saved from hunters.
They are the big Roosevelt elk, he
said, superior in size and color to
any other, it is thought by the com
mission that the addltionul safeguard
will have the effect of saving these
three types of wild animals from ut
ter extermination
The closed season on the Deschutes
river will be effective each winter
from December 10 to March 31. It
was stated that the people of that
district are favorable to doing away
with winter fishing and the ordec
was made. A similar ruling was
made effective in regard to Butte
creek, where It was decided to es
tablish a hatchery.
Residents to Help With Hatchery,
Construction of this plant will go
ahead at once. Residents of that
section have shown considerable in

Breathing the air of Hyomei is the

The complete Hyomel outfit 's in
