KILLERS SLOW
ON SUPPLIES
(Courtesy Tuesday's Journal 1
PORTLAND, Ore. There was a
slow tone In the hog trade at North
Portland this morning. With a rath

held off their purchases. Seemingly
there was no change In the general
situation from yesterday, tops being
nominally quoted around 17, although
a small supply was moved yesterday
ae a dime more.
There was less favorable quality
among the offerings of hogs in the
local market today, and this was one
of the reasons why killers held back.
