On Automobile Trip. , Dr. and Mrs. M. F. Setter of Spo- I kane, spent last night in the city. ! They are on an automobile tour of , Oregon. They started out this morn ! ing for La Grande but the roads were so bad they had to return and will leave this afternoon for La Grande by train, from where they will con ' tlnue their automobile trip. Sunday and Monday Will Return Today. Rev. E. R. Clevenger of the Bap tist church who has been attending the Baptist state convention at Eu gene will return tonight and conduct the regular Sunday services tomorrow at the usual hours morning and eve ning. The Sunday school and the young peoples society will also meet I a! the usual hours tomorrow. I Crosses New Bridge. K. Stevens, well known rancher of j Riverside, has the honor to be the first to cross the new bridge over the I Umatilla river at the east end of town ! Mr. Stevens went over the new struc ture this morning In his Ford auto mobile.
