The proposed addition of twenty thousand men to the present force of regulars will est twenty million. More guns for Ihe coast and field artillery add another ten or fifteen million. The Increase in ammunition, supplies and reserves will cost five million. Officials hope to keep the army budget under a hundred and seventy-five million, an increase of from fifty to sixty million over last vear's figures. The proposed short term enlistments to Increase the number of trained citizens, who will form a reserve was also discussed at today's session. The amount to be asked for navy appropriations this year it U understood will be around two hun dred and forty million. ATHENS, Oct. 14. Although Serbian reports claimed the Bulgarian invasion is repulsed, Nish advices admit prepara tions are being made to defend the city. Accompanied hy Mrs Todd and the marshal, Stout, with his former wife went to his old home to divide the property. Chlttem remained outside.
