In a letter the noble Dan says: Callahan, the Brooklyn lightweight has a wonderful record, but failed to receive the recognition he desei-ved as he was not properly handled. has .Just come unrter my management and you will find him fighting for the championship this fall." Dan goes on to say that Callahan stopped Joe Rivers In two rounds and In five rounds stopped Jack Held, the Australian lightweight brought to this country by Joe Woodman and Sam Langford. He also credit Cal lahan with a popular decislDn over Johnny Dundee and alleges that the little Brooklyn lad really knocked out Joe Mandot In Memphis. McKetrlck says that Callahan had Mandot stiff on the floo- with lite referee at the count of nine when they pulled the beU on him. Jimmy Duffy, Tommy Murphy and Sam Robldeau were also victims of Callahan, according to Dan. From all of this we gather that Mc Ketrlck thinks he has added another winner to his stable of fighters.
