NEW YORK, July 14. Women are
becoming some of New York's most
ardent fight fans. Each succeeding
card, especially the open air variety

sterner escorts. About 400 have at

PSYCHOLOGY
ne of the best known mental
processes is the "law of as
sociation of ideas."
Seeing something makes you
think of something else.
The retailer takes advantage
of this law when he makes win
dow displays of national prod
ucts at the time they are adver
tised in this newspaper.
People see the advertisement, and later
as they pass by see the goods in the re
tailer's window.
Whether they buy or not the public
form a mental impression.
People standardize that store in their
minds as a place that keeps interesting
merchandise.
