Think ing the town boys had come to steal fru t, the sons of the owner ordered the trespassers off the premises. According to the story told by the four boys they had turned their hors es and were leaving the place when the elder of the other two. commonly known as "Faf Bisbee. called to them again. They stopped and turned to hear what he was saying when he raised a shotgun and fired. The Beasley boy was struck on the legs and hands by nine different No. 3 shot and the Todd boy on the legs by six. They rode back toward town and were met by an auto who tok them to a physician. Their Injur es. while painful, are not serious.
