Hall In Dundee Is Kiting. DUNDEE, Ore., May 22. Work began on the foundation of the pub lic hall, which Is being built by the Dundee Women's Club and the Boys' Amusement Club. The plans and specifications provide for a hall 40 by 70 feet a club room for the Dundee Woman's Club and one of the Boys' Club, besides a confectionery store. More than $1300 cash has been subscribed besides donations of la bor, which will insure Its completion In the near future. Sir Wilfrid Laurier Addresses clubs. TORONTO, Ont., May 21 Sir Wil frid Laurler will address the Liber al Club Federation of Ontario, in this city at the Federation's annual din ner. Sir Wilfrid la also scheduled to make anther address in Toronto. He is expected to speak at the Provincial Woman's Liberal Association, which holds its annual meeting here. Mine Thick In Channel. NEW YORK, May 21. The Atlan tic transport liner Minnehaha, from London with 17 passengers, docked here after an uneventful voyage. Ger man submarines cannot get into the channel from the North sea and must skirt .the north of Scotland to reach their field of operations, off the Irish coast." All that saved the Presbyterians from a white wash was a couple ot lucky hits In the last frame. The Presbyterians fumbled nearly everything that came their way, throwing wildly In every direction but the right, while the Methodists played big league ball from the start to the end. Hinderman pitched fine ball throughout the whole game, al lowing only two hits and those tn the last Inning when with the score 11 to 0 in his favor, he relaxed long enough to allow one run to be squeez ed in. The feature of the game was the batting of Ulrlch for the Methodists. He got two three baggers and a sin gle In three trips to the plate.
