At a previous meeting, the subject "Capitalism"' had afforded an interest ing program and this was supple mented yesterday by a discussion of "Labor." The program was opened by a paper on "Labor vs. Capital; Study of Wage-Earning Man, Woman and Child,' by Mrs. E. B. Aldrlch. Mrs. G. M. Rice gave a very Interest ing reading of Comradeyette," by Ed wards. Mrs. James Johns, Jr., pre sented the work of Meumier, the sculptor of the proletariat and was j followed by Mrs. Johns, Sr., who read ft paper on "Literature That Deals with Social and Industrial Problems" and gave a reading from "Pay En velope." A discussion of the same question was led by Mrs. Nesmlth An keny and Mrs. H. H. Hattery. Mrs. C. F. Colesworthy read a selection from "The Melting Pot" and Mrs. A.
