FROM THE PEOPLE
WHO'S TO BLAME
Editor the East Orcgonlan, Uklah,
Ore., May 17. The Lusltanla went to
the bottom. Germany notified the
people before they sailed, that they
would torpedoed. Officers of the boat
encouraged passengers to go on the
boat. Iiy the slnklnf of that, ship
there was a heavy loss and the freight
board was lost. Why did they run
this risk? If th statements of the
papers are true, It appears, I am
sure, to many, the English wanted
the copper, the brass and other things
for war purposes so badly, she wag
willing to run a risk. Besides If they
were to drown a few hundred people
from England and some from the Un
ited States. It would pay If by It they
could Induce the United States to go
to war against Germany. The cap
tain Is reported as having said he
was following Instructions, but was.
not at liberty to state what those In
ductions were.
If that hypotheses Is correct and
the people In the United States un
derstand It, It will not help England
any. ,

ITCHING NEARLY
DROVE A WHOLE
FAMILY CRAZY
Kansas City, Ma, Oct. 24, 1914:
"My husband had a rash all over his
body, and soon the WHOLE FAMILY
was in the same condition. It looked
scaly and raised up on the arms and
body In big lumps. This trouble
burned and itched so that it would
nearly drive one crazy. It was always
worse at night, so we could not sleep.
We all had this trouble for about two
or three years, and during that time
tried many remedies and prescriptions
with no results. We tried Kesinol Oint
ment and liceinol Soap and it RE
LIEVED AT ONCE, and before tha
third jar of ointment had been used, we
were all completely cured. It baa been
four months since we were cured, and
there are no traces of the trouble."

THIS WEEK TWO MASTER
I'lCTUtES, "THE OUTLAWS REVENGE" and
'THE DEVIL" ARE COMING.
, The tragic story of Villa's own
early life, of how, In seeking re
venge for the death of his two un
protected sisters, at the hands of
officers of the Mexican army, he
was thrown Into prison, escaped
with the aid of an Indian half
breed whom he had earlier be
friended, became an outlaw, and
finally was made chief of the band
that formed the nucleus of the
Mexican Rebel army.
Here was a tremendous epic of
real life a theme b:g with human
emotion, ready at hand. There was
almost the very scene of the trag
edy; here were thousands of rest
less Mexicans as there had been
when only a few years before Villa
was living the story.
Then the telegraph wires began
to hum well known actors and ac
tresses came, learned the story,
lived the life and then re-lived
the story before the camera. The
result is a wonderful picture.
