May 10. (Special) The Stanfield-Echo boys had an awful first Inning here yes terday and that is the principal rea son why Pilot Rock kept her perfect percentage by winning 10 to 4. In that first frame seven runners cross ed the rubber, five safe blows off Harlan combined w th a few error by his backers making scoring easy for the Pebbles. After the first inning Harlan set tled down to work and did a good Job of it. In fact the west end rooters took a good deal of consolation out of the tact that during tne last eight innings their team made four runs while the Pilot Rockers were making three. If they could have Just can celed that d'sastrous first frame, they would have gone home happy. Darling pitched a fine article of ball throughout, holding the visitors to four scattered hits. He received some mighty good aid from M. Gil bert, Clock and Albrecht aand but for a few bobbles behind him would have had a shutout.
