ernment inquiry, the result of which
became public, shows that the am
ount of wheat and of wheat equival
ent in flour' ln'Canada on February
8 last was approximately 380,000,000
bushels.
This quantity should be amply suf
ficient to meet all requirements be
tween now and the next harvest for
seeding thla spring and for food dur
ing the next six months. It is esti
mated that 44,250,000 bushels will
be required, thus leaving a balance
of 35,750,000 bushela for export and
reserve. j
