ries a rich girl, who 18 then disinher
ited by her father. Later she dies,
leaving a child. The musician be
comes sick. Unable to provide ' for
his little daughter, he sends her to
h?r wealthy grandfather. After many
years she meets her father by chance.
Ho Is old and poor. But he Is re
paid tor years of sacrifices when his
daughter wins him a home with her
self and grandfather. Well staged
and acted.
2. Hearts, Hunger and Happiness.
Pathe. A lively comedy, presenting
the adventures of a love-lorn youth
for whom fasting Is prescribed as a
cure.
3. Practical Brook Trout Breeding.
Pathe. An 'excellent Industrial pic
ture. 4. The Try Out. Edison. A young
couple make their debut In vaudeville
and a. lamentable failure of It. From
this however, an Interest In each oth
er develops and finally a bright Idea
enables them to score a success. A
pretty comedy with a touch of pa
thos here and there.

story of the stake. While the plot of
this photoplay Is comparatively sim
plo, It Is big in Its appeal to the
heart and keenly Interesting in its
depiction to the most minute detail
of life behind the curtain. It will be
found a highly entertaining heart-stirring
dramatic subject,
6. Hank and Lank, Blind Men. Es
sanay. These versatile comedians are
old acquaintances now and the more
they are seen the b.tter they are
liked. There Is surety of hearty
laughs in this subject.

"The Little Circus Rider." Sellg.
Jim and Bertha' are boyhood sweet
hearts. Bertha, budding into woman
hood, has higher ambitions than the
simple country life, &uu yearned for
the big city. It is a circus day and
all was excitement. Reginald Black,
a city chap, calls to take her to the
big circus. Jim is sent by her father
to keep an eye on them. She is per
suaded to leave with Black for the
city. She leaves a note telling her
father that she and Black wil be mar
ried when they reach the city. Upon
arrival Bhe finds the insincerity of
Black's promise slips away and ap
plies to the circus manager for work.
Upon making her entrance to the
ring she is hurt In a fall it's then
her old friend Jim who comes for
ward and helps her out. A picture of
unusual heart Interest, yet carrying
many amusing features to thrill and
rivet tho attention throughout the
story.
"Only a Sister." Melles. She hap
pens to be the right kind of a sister
by her self-sacrifice and noble nature
she makes a man of her wayward-l
brother, and every man on the Texas
ranch has to take off his hat to this
little girl.
"Jean Rescues." Vitagraph. The
more we see of some dogs the more
we like them. Jean is one of the best
and most likeable dogs in the world.
You want to see what she does In this
picture.
"Overland to Fremont." Selig. A
picture story depicting the struggles
and sufferings of those brave men
and women, our early pioneers. Sellg
pictures are always good.
