Sheep market snowed a tinge of weakness today and trading was bI.iw. There continues a very good demand for lambs and values rule In tact at a rango of 15.75 to J6. With the exception of 41 nead of hogs that came In a load of sheep, all the ar rivals today were of the latter line. Cattle market, - while showing no arrivals this morning, Is not over firm although the tone Is steady. The trade seems to be very well supplied with cattle. A large per cent of these are of poor quality and there fore shipments of extra select quality find quick response from buyers. As In a recent transaction, something better than the average will bring as high as $5.60 for steers.
