Lewlston, Idaho, July 28. The re
form forces of the city are preparing
petition asking for the recall of
Mayor Henry Heltfeld and Council-
men Phillips, Booth and Salaberg.
The causes which led up to the ac
tion are the result of the recent city
election, In which three new members
of the city council were chosen, and
the reorganization of that body effected.
The new members, at a recent
meetnlg began cutting expenditures
and chopping salaries, but they were
met by a solid front on the part of
the holdovers 'and the tie vote was
settled by the mayor voting with the
members of the old council. The
question of paving Is hanging In the
balance and may be defeated In the
heat of the controversy.

Itching, Burning Skin Disease; Rooted
WitlKwt Vac of Injurious Drugs.
Great Inventors often have been
praised for surrendering the secrets
of their discoveries. Practically the
same thing happened in the medical
world In the case of Dr. D. Dennis,
the eminent skin specialist of Chi
cago.
Dr. Dennis, In his own office prac
tlce, discovered that pure vegetable
oil of wlntergreen, properly mixed
with other simple remedies, was
practically a sure cure for ecxema,
psorasls, barber's itch, salt rheum,
and other itching skin diseases. But
the oil of wlntergreen alone was
found Ineffective. It required other
mild ingredients such as glycerine
and thymol compounded with the
wlntergreen to produce the real ecze
ma cur.
This compounded D. D. D. Pre
scription positively takes away the
Itch at once the instant It Is applied
to the skin. This vegetable liquid
does away with deleterious drugs so
long used In an attempt to doctor the
blood, whereas modern science has
determined that eczema Is first and
all the time, a skin disease.
. If you want to know mors about
the merits ofD. D. D. Prescription,
call at our store. We vouch for this
remedy. Pendleton Drug Co.
