Deer Law Void In Union County.
There Is a rumor current In La
tirunde and Union county In fact, to
the effect that through on error and
oversight on the part of the lost leg
islature, all gamo laws of Union coun
ty are null and void. To save annoy
ance and trouble from a game wur
dvn, local sports had best take careful
notice that this sad mistake occurred
only on the laws regulating the kill
ing of deer. The old deer law has ex-
plred and In new legislation, tho bill
was tabled and entirely forgotten,
consequently there Is no law to pun
ish those shooting -deer out of the
regular season. This Is only true of
a few counties, however. Many ore of
the Impression that this condition
prevails In all gam.
Regardless of the fact that the law
governing the killing of deer are null
and void, Unlon county" sportsmen
should not take advantage of It and
cause a wholesale daughter, of the
animal. This condition will exist for
two years, and If the hunter would,
they could annihilate the animal In

Cured Hemorrhages of the Lungs.
"Several years since my lungs were
so badly affected that I had many
hemorrhages," writes A. M. Ake, of

several physicians without any bene
fit. I then started to take Foley's
Honey and Tar, and my lungs are now
as sound as a bullet. I recommend
it In advanced stages of lung trouble."

County Seat Fight Ahead.
Lest week one of our contempora
ries made some humorous allusions
to the county seat question. It was
Inferred that there Is no danger of
the slightest move. This Is a sub
ject which the Sun has assiduously
avoided. There Is no need to men
tion, the subject until some move. Is
made in that direction. In our
minds there is no doubt but that Wal
lowa will he a candidate for the
county sent at the next election. But
why harp on It now? It Is a question
which the people of the county must
decide when It once come to an Is
sue' and a question which they can
not der'do before next, June. Wal
