Since the recent flurry In the price of wheat In Chicago, the local market has ben on the upward trend. There Is practically no wheat being offered to the shippers, but what little there Is, Is bringing from 70 to 75 cents per bushel. In speaking of the wheat market today, E. W. McComas, one of the prominent buyers, said: "The price which Is prevailing here Is higher than the eastern price warrants. The price offered In Tacoma Is about 82 cents, while the price In Chicago Is now only about 10 cents higher. The rule Is that there should be a differ ence of 30 cents between the two points."
