While It has not been thought ad visable to offer prizes In the horse show to be held here on May 4, yet Pendleton business men have made arrangements to pay the feed bills on horses brought from a distance and remaining over night In this city for the purpose of taking part in the show. It Is to be a voluntary exhibit of Umatilla county horse flesh and It Is believed that there Is sufficient local pride among Umatilla county horse men to Insure a large attendance and an excellent Bhow without prizes. Interest In the horse show Is Increas ing and furmers are now making ar rangements to bring In their fine teams, saddle and driving horses and It is hoped to have a fine exhibit.
