In Torments a Year and a Half with Terrible Sores on Face and Body Hands Tied to Stop Scratching and Tearing at Flesh But CURE BY CUTICURA COMPLETE AND SPEEDY "My little son, when about a year and a half old began to have sores come out on his face. I bad a phy sician treat him, but the sores grew worse. Then they began to come on his arms, then on other parts of his body, and then one came on his chest, worse than the others. Then I called another physi cian. Still he grew worse. At the end of about a year and a half of suffering be grew so cad I had to tie his hands in cloths at night to keep him from scratching the sores and tearing the flet-a. He got to be a mere skeleton, and was hardly able to walk. My aunt advised me to try Cuticura Soap and Ointment. So great was her faith In it that she gave me a small piece of Cuticura Soap to try and a little Cuticura Ointment. I took It home without any faith, but to please her I tried it, and it seemed to dry up the ores a little. I sent to the drug store and got a cake of Cuticura Soap and a box of Cuticura Ointment and followed the directions, and at the end of about two months the sores were all well. He has never had any sores of any kind since. He is now strong and healthy, and I can sincerely say that only for your most wonderful remedies my pre cious child would have died from those terrible sores. I used only one cake of Soap and about three boxes of Ointment. Mrs. Egbert Sheldon, K. F. D., No. 1, Woodville, Conn., April 22, 1905." ITCHING PIMPLES Cured by Cuticura in Nebraska. ' The Commercial club decided last night to take up the matter of settl ing the suit brought by the O. R. & X. against A. W. Wllllami. by ap pointing a committee to wait on the proper officials and present the case to them, says the Walla Walla Bulle tin. It was represented that a large tract of land lying near the Walla Walla river below Milton, which will produce nothing on account of Its alkaline state, Is being kept from reclamation by 3 lawsuit Instituted by the O. R. & N. company against A. W. Williams. By government experiments In dif ferent parts of the United States It has been provided that such land can be reclaimed by a series of flooding, which curries away all the alkali and leaves the land In a very fertile and productive state. The water Is confined to the alkali land by means of dykes, but because of the spongy condition of the soil It is carried by capillary attraction two or three hundred feet beyond the dykes. In doing this It has affected the railroad track to such an extent that It Is said that It is not safe for trains to be run and for this reason the railway company Is taking meas ures to restrain this reclamation work. If they are successful In this thous ands of acres of land that might be made very productive will He in Its present state. The sentiment waf that this has probably never been present ed to the railroad company In this form, and for this purpose a commit tee of three was appointed to carry the matter to the proper officials and see If some agreement could be reach fd by which the work could be car ried on and at the same time the track could be placed in a condition safe for traffic.
