He Illustrated the meth of which he discovered for adminis tering drugs by electricity the act entitle nRmc of which Is lonisatlon. To prove his theory he shaved the back of a rabbit and put a compress of sulphite of strychnine on It. This violent poison did the animal no harm, but Immediately after the pass ing of an electric current the rabb'.t died, the current having introduced the poison into his system. The pro feasor considers the system should prove etrernely useful In the curing of rheumatism, sciatica, locomotor ataxia and paralysis. He also showed an experiment with electricity as an anaesthetic. He put a rabbit to sleep by means of the electric current, under the Influence ot which the animal's limbs could be cut off without feeling pain. He kept the animal asleep for 10 minutes then stopped the current and It open ed Its eyes and sat up. It seems just as ridiculous to put medicine Into the stomach to cure a cold In the head or lungs as it does to go out In the rain If we want to keep dry. The fact that many people right In Pendleton cough and hawk and snuf fie for days and weeks after they treat a cold with the usual stomacn dosing, shows how valueless are the ordinary cough and cold cures. The right way to cure a cold In the head or a cough and irritation in the throat and lungs, Is by breathing Hy- omel's medicated air. Put a few drops of Hyomel In the neat pocket inhaler that comes with every outfit and breathe this healing air for a few times and Immediate relief will be noted.' The medication goes tight to the spot where the disease germs are located and renders them harmless In the future. At the same time the soothing and healing effects of Hyomel on the ir rltated mucous membrane give quick relief and the cough or cold Is broken up. The best evidence of the great value of Hyomel in curing coughs, colds and all bronchial troubles Is the fact that Tallman & Co. give an absolute guar' antee with every outfit they sell, that If It does not give satisfaction, the money will be refunded. A complete Hyomel outfit, consist' Ing of a bottle of Hyomel, the In haler and a medicine dropper, costs but SI, while extra bottles of Hyomel, If needed, can be obtained for only EOc.
