Last year, v j navmg my mue giro iiraim vy .jry prominent physician for an obsti nate case of eczema, I resorted to the Cuticura Remedies, and was so wen pleased with the almost instantaneous relief afforded that we discarded the physician's prescription and relied en tirely on the Cuticura Soap, Cuticura Ointment, and Cuticura Pills. When we commenced with the Cuticura Rem edies her feet and limbs were covered with running sores. In about six weeks we had her completely well, and there has been no recurrence of the trouble. " In July of this year a little boy in our family poisoned Lis bands and arms with poison oak, and in twenty-four hours bis hands and arms were a mass of torturing sores. We used only the Cuticura Remedies, washing his hands and arms with the Cuticura Soap, and anointed them with the Cuticura Oint ment, and then save him the Cuticura Resolvent. In about three v'eeks his hands and arms healed up; so we have lots of cause for feeling grateful for the Cuticura Remedies. We find that the Cuticura Remedies are a valuable household standby, living as we do twelve miles from a doctor, and where it costs from twenty to twenty-live dol lars to come up on the mountain. In many of the Greek Islands diving for sponge forms a considerable part of the occupation of the inhabitants. The natives make It a trade to gather these, aud their Income from this source Is far from vcontemptlble. In one of the Inlands a girl Is not permit ted to marry until she has brought up a certain number of sponges and given proof of her skill by taking them from a certain depth. But In some of the Islands this custom la reversed. The father of a marriageable daughter be stows her on the best diver among ber suitors, no who can stay longest In the water and bring up the biggest enrgo of sponges marries the maid.
