PACE EIGKi. DAILY EAST ORE GOXIAN, PENDLETON, OREGON, 'FRIDAY, JVNE 15, 1906. EIGHT PAGB. Health in Coffee is obtained only through preparing coffee properly. We are owners of the only mill for pulverizing in the city and can pulverize your coffee like flour. Our "EXCERPTA" coffee pot is made especially for pulverized coffee and even a child can make delicious coffee with the Excerpta. The principle upon which the Excerpta is constructed absolutely prevents the escape of the aroma, and the essence thus preserved imparts to the beverage a delicious flavor which no other coffee pot can produce. You have often heard the remark; "I wish coffee tasted as good as it smells!'' This was because the best part of the coffee went into the fumes and the liquid was robbed of just that much. The "Excerpta" saves all that is lost through the use of other coffee pots, and never fails to produce the de sired result. IN TWO STYLES Style A. Dur ing the recent high water the river was not quite high enough to have gone over the proposed Intake wall, but we will make the same higher so as to be secure from future floods." While the recent flood was on, the stream gauging men In the reclama tion corps took measurements of the flow, and Mr. Henny says there was plenty of water.
