Rea, the Montana sheep buyer, shipped out 58 carloads of sheep from Heppner the past week. There were about 20,000 sheep In the two train loads, one train going out Sunday and the other Monday. They will be unloaded at Forsythe, Mont., for summer range. It required Just three days to dip this entire lot, the dipping crew averaging about 7000 a day. About one-third of the sheep of Baker county will be sheared at the shearing corrals of Lee Brothers near Pleasant Valley within the next few weeks.
