Says the Lcwlxton Tribune about the latest phase of the Interstate senb controversy: Six sheep dipping vats will lie In stalled ulnng the Washington state line by the government according to Stock Inspector Henderson. Under the law nil sheep coming Into this state must be dipped. This Is due to the general cleanliness of the' Idaho stock, and the stock Inspectors stated that there Is no sign of Infection among any of the sheep In northern Idaho. All sheep leaving Washing ton and Idaho are compelled to sub mit to dipping, and when entering Idaho the one dipping suffices for the demand of both laws. The vats will probably not be con structed before May 1, or shortly af ter the shearing season. A dipping tank was Installed at the Northern Pacific stock yards Inst fall and this Is used where the sheep do not pass as clean nn inspection as Is desired by the federal Inspectors. It is also stated that the banks of the Snake, especially on the Oregon side, are literally strewn with dead animals. L Obliged to Lie With Limbs Higher Than Head Suffered Untold Agonies and Could Not Walk Doctor Said It Was the Worst Case he Ever Saw. ANOTHER WONDERFUL CURE BY CUTICURA "I received your letter asking for information about using the Cuticura Remedies. I used them for eczema. The doctor said it was the worst case he ever saw. It was on both limbs, from the knees to the ankles. We tried everything the doctors knew of, but the Cuticura Remedies did the most good. I was obliged to lie with my limbs higher than my head, for the pain was so terrible I could not walk. I suffered untold agonies. One limb wasted away a great deal smaller than the other, there was so much discharge from it. I found the Cuticura Rem edies very soothing, and I still keep them in the house. I am very thankful to say that I am cured, and you can pub lish this statement if you wish. I found the Cuticura Remedies all that you say they are. I hope that you may be spared many years to make the Cuticura Remedies for the benefit of persons suf fering from the torture of skin diseases, such as I had. I remain, yours re spectfully, Mrs. Golding, Box 8, Ayr, Canada, Juno 6, 1905." CORED OF CHAPPED HANDS " I have used the Cuticura Soap for chapped hands, which I had been troubled with for about three years. I suffered intense pain and itching. I used nearly two cakes of the Cuticura Soap, and my hands were completely cured and have never troubled me since. I also took the Cuticura Resol vent for the blood at the same time. I can recommend the Cuticura Rem edies to others suffering the same. Chas. Young, Plattsville, Ontario, Can ada, Sept. 29, 1905." Compltlt Eeternel tod Interne! J A Simple Sign It was at the EAST END GROCERY That she saw a simple sign, And she stopped and slowly read It While her blue eyes seemed to shim. Then with scornful Hps she mur mured, As she tossed her pretty hat, "How I wish that men were labeled With a good, plain sign, like that." So when she passed, I ventured Near the EAST END GROCER'S shop And espied this simple legend: "This CORN warranted to POP." And then the EAST END GROCER, Smiling sweetly did appear. And he kindly bade me enter, Saying: "See what we have here." And as my eyes gaze a eagerly, I soon saw the "CRESCENT" sign, And found what I was looking for, The Famous "99." A finer line of groceries, I never before had seen; All the CRESCENT BRAND was rep- resented, j' From Coffees down to Maplelne, There I allowed my eyes to feast, ' With wonder and delight, .
