During the year ending December SO, 1S05, 57,000 tone of freight were shipped from North Yakima station. This does not include the shipments by local and way freight and ship ments by express, but expresses the total tonnage by carload lots. The express shipments amounted to about 16 tons per day during the fruit sea son and 10 tons a day for local ship ments. Following Is the total ton nage of the eight leading commodities of the valley. Hay 20,239 Flour and feed , ,790 Potatoes 6,241 Lumber 7,537 Fruit 5,639 Hops 3,045 Livestock 6,188 Wool , 614 There Is very little difference be tween these figures and those of the year previous. This is accounted for by the shortage of cars during the latter part of the year and the failure of the hay men to get rid of their products. Immediately following the car shortage almost 8,000 tons of hay were shipped from this station, but the yeur 1905 would not get the - credit. Yakima Dally Republic. Soven New Granges. C. B.
