Walla Walla l.'n Ion. Sheep Killed Near Dale. On Sunday night near here two bands of sheep were fired into by a band of lawless marauders. One band was owned by Ilynd Uros., and wore firming on rented range In the Sulphur gulch country. About 100 shots were exchanged between the mob and the herders and about 75 sheep were slaughtered. The other band was grazing on rented range on Meadow creek near the Tom Tuttlo ranch. About 40 head were killed. It is un derstood that this band Is owned by Buslck. of Heppner.
