The brotherhood Idea also taken root In Canada and the Brotherhood of St. Andrews In the Church of England In the Dominion of Canada has been formed and has now over 200 chapters with more than liiOO members. About two weeks ago there appear ed In the columns of the Pendleton Tribune an Interview with one Fred L. Osmcr of Logansport, Ind., In which he said that when a moral wave struck Logansport his property depre elated in value 25 per cent, etc., etc. A letter of inquiry was sent to Lo gansport and the Interview clipped from the Tribune and enclosed. The following Is a copy of the reply re ceived: "Dear Sir: Your inquiry about Fred L. Osmer Is at hand, und I am sorry to say. if a moral wave has struck Logansport, I have not been able to detect It. There has been no such an experience here. And. as to property falling 25 per cent, that is absolutely false. "The fellow has but very few stakes to pull up nnd he has no notion of leaving here. It Is a case of bluff. HUch as the saloon people are given to. If the young man said whnt the paper said he did, he was simply talking for fun. Such fun is dishonoring to his parents, who are respectable people.
