The largest catch of salmon made on the salmon banks with a seine this year was made by a party of fisher men from Ballard, Wash., who took 8000 sockeye salmon In one haul In the middle of the season. The most severe wind storm that has visited Lewlston In many years occurred last evening, and as a result both telegraph and telephone wires were placed out of service.
