Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Rounds of Oak land, Iowa, are In the city today on their way to Spokane after a visit to the Lewis and Clark fair. Mr. Rounds Is a retired farmer of Oakland and Is now taking life easy. He nas been an active farmer and stockman for 50 years, and is enjoying a well-earned rest. The sheriff's office Is now looking for the whereabouts of a one armed man who madee his escape last even ing from night officer Scheer. The fellow was arrested during the evening by the above officer on the charge of having lobbed H. P. Mills of $26. According to the story told by Mill.s he allowed the one nrmed man to share his room with him on Thursday night, and that when he arose the next morning the man he had befriended was gone and had al so gone through his pockets, taking $25 therefrom.
