Fomr Suspects . Are Arrested oa Charge of Looting the Lebanon Bank Recently. Portland. Feb. ItJ. A. Crossly, Mr. and Mrs. Kit Donne and A. D. Hendryx. suspected of robbing the Lebanon hank,- are now on trial at Albany, for the crime, . having been taken from this city last evening by Sheriff R. L. White, of Linn county. Queenstown, England, Feb. It. An. explosion this morning on the Brit ish submarine boat A-6, la reported, which caused the death of six of the crew. After the first explosion res cue party went aboard, when a sec ond explosion Injured the rescuers. Dead and injured are shockingly mutilated and several were removed to the hospital. The explosion orig inated while the officers were filling Ihe gusollne tanks. Eleven rescuers were bringing up the dead and Injured when the sec ond occurred. The total casualties are 10. The submarine la now afire. Three are dead one la Lieutenant Skinner, In charge of the boat. Fif teen are Injured, several probably fa tally. ' The meeting of the city council last night was short, and with the ex ceptlon of the discussion over the strip of land adjoining the Main street bridge, was devoid of Interest. Applications for liquor licenses were read from Morgan av iiogard and Paul Hemllgard. Upon motion these were ordered granted upon the pay ment of the license fees. After a report from the marshal showing the present condition of the scarlet fever epidemic and the quar antine measures that were helng used, the council adjourned. Three Cars of Sheep Shipped.
