Francisco via Boise, a distance of

rail. The new road will be known as
the- San Francisco, Idaho & Montana
Hallway company, and has been In
corporated wkh a capital stock of

The officers of the new railroad
company are: William Payton Mason,
of Minneapolis, president; C. H
Flemniliig, of Minneapolis, vice-president;
O. T. Popper, of Boise, secre
tary; W. E. Forak, of Boise, secre
er. These four officials with J. A
McOlnty of Boise, constitute the
board of directors.
The new loud will be of Btandard
gauge and will pass through Jordan
valley, Oregon, and McDermltt, Nev.,
and a vast territory which hitherto
has not been traversed by the iron
horse.
It Is claimed that J. J. Hill of the
Great Northern, Is financiering the
new road. Plans have been maturing
for the past two years and all of the
right of way has practically been se
