Mr. Shaw erected the build ing which now occupies the ground, which he Is to surrender title to at the end of the term of the lease. Boise Capital News. Water Bond Proposition. At the meeting of the city council last night an ordinance was passed to submit to the voters of the city on February 11, the proposition to bond the city In the sum of $500,000 for the purpose of purchasing the cold water system of the Artesian Hot A Cold Water company, and the Walling canal, commonly called the Perrault ditch. Of this sum 1220,000 Is to be used in paying for the cold water sys tem, 170,000 for the purchase of the canal and 1210,000 for Improving, en larging and maintaining the system. Boise Capital News. Blown Up by Dynamite. A sad accident occurred at the rail road cut Just west of town yesterday afternoon. A man named Woods was killed by an explosion of dynamite. He was thawing some of the explosive on a sheet of iron over the fire, and it got too hot. Lee have sold their half Interest In the Long Creek flour mill to Pleasant S. Fan ning, who owned the other half. The deal was made last Monday, the con sideration being S1GO0. There was a special school meeting of the taxpayers of the Long Creek school district Monday, nt which a 15-mill tax waB voted to pay annual Interest and to pay off one JEOO bond. Live cows were used to demon strate the good und bad features which the dairymen should note when purchasing or breeding cattle. The demonstrations were In charge of A. J. Glover, of Wisconsin. The afternoon session was given over to a symposium discussion of "Creamery Needs," the participants In the discussion Including managers of creameries, expert buttermakers and dairy Instructors. A. W. Mow bray of St. Charles. Minn., and J. G. Moore, creamery Inspector of the Wisconsin dairy and food department. will address the association this eve ning.
